It was heard around the world. An estimated 5 million people gathered in cities and towns in more than 81 countries to stand for what they believe in and demand equality, empathy, a cleaner environment, and the right to a better future. Maria and I were in Washington, DC to be a part of this historic day. Below are a few images that sum up a day filled with passion, love and unity.
